Grant Application Process

2025 Grant Program will open May 16, 2025

The International Foundation’s 2025 Grant Program demonstrates our dedication to supporting U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organizations that prioritize sustainability and deliver measurable results. Grants of up to $100,000 will be awarded to projects that address critical needs in the areas of agriculture, education, environment, and health.

We are please to announce that our 2025 Grant Program will open on May 16, 2025! Nonprofit organizations who are interested in applying for our 2025 grant are invited to attend an info-session. We will share key updates - including our increased maximum grant award of up to $100,000 - and walk through our priorities, eligibility, and application process.

The session is an opportunity to meet our team and ask questions.

Time: 2:00 PM EST

Location: Via Zoom CLICK HERE TO REGISTER

Step 1: Eligibility Evaluation

Organizations seeking grants from The International Foundation must first complete a brief, online evaluation to assess application eligibility. If your organization meets all the requirements, you will be directed to submit a Letter of Inquiry.

Step 2: Letter of Inquiry (LOI)

Eligible organizations will submit a short LOI in a brief Q&A format to share information about their organization, proposed project, and intended use of funds.

All LOIs are reviewed for alignment with our geographic and programmatic priorities. Applicants who do not qualify will be notified, while those with strong alignment may be invited to submit a full proposal.

Step 3: Full Proposal

Selected organizations will be invited to complete a full grant application including detailed program, anticipated impact, financial, and organizational documentation.

Step 4: Application Review

All proposals are thoroughly reviewed by our Grants Committee and require final approval from our Board of Directors.

We only fund one proposal per organization during each calendar year. If your organization has previously received a grant, you must receive confirmation that the grant has been successfully closed - including a submissions of a final report and financial summary -before reapplying.
