Gary Dicovitsky Finance and Investment Committee Chair

Gary Dicovitsky is a 31-year veteran in philanthropic fundraising. He led record-breaking comprehensive efforts as the vice president at some of the nation’s leading organizations, including the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) and Pomona College. Earlier in his career, he led gift planning programs at Princeton University and the University of Virginia, after initiating his fund-raising career at Dartmouth College’s nationally renowned Bequests and Trusts Program.

Dicovitsky also chairs the Finance Committee of the International Foundation and continues his volunteer efforts at Dartmouth College by serving as his class chair within the Gift Planning Program. He also was a member of the CANARAS Planned Giving Council that helped formulate and author ground-breaking professional standards that are the basis of ethical charitable fundraising today.

Dicovitsky earned his B.A. from Dartmouth College and his M.Ed from Loyola College. He also was a college basketball coach for eight years. He resides in California.
